Community Living Camp -DAY 1❤
The B. Ed curriculum includes various practical aspects to ensure holistic development of future educators. As part of this curriculum, a community living camp was organized from February 12 to 16 with a focus on sustainable development. The camp was named "ചിരന്തന ," which means perpetual or everlasting.

The main objective of Chiranthan was to foster an understanding and appreciation for sustainable development among the participating B. Ed students. The camp aimed to provide them with hands-on experience and promote active learning in a real-life setting.
Lotion and hand wash were prepared under the leadership of Ummer, Sukumaran and Smita who came from Gandhi Bhavan from 9.30 am. Earn while you learn is an active activity.
The social science classroom and the Hindi classroom were filled with children's luggage. Around 12:45 p.m. After eating, the school bus of the model school returned to the rural study centerWhen the bus stopped we could see a big mountain. The weight of the luggage and the intense heat of the sun made the climb more difficult.Although we climbed the mountain with great difficulty, good experiences awaited us at the top of the mountain. First was the opening ceremony.
Brahma Nayakam Mahadevan sir who was the guest of honor performed the inauguration ceremony in the meeting which started under the chairmanship of the principal.Keerthana Anil and Gauri Venu who composed and sang the song won everyone's appreciation...
Then there was a class by Brahmanayakam Mahadevan sir, from worrying about how to spend three hours, I was able to spend about four and a half hours without any boredom.
He managed to engage us very actively without boring us even for a second... I had one of the best experiences of my life during these four and a half hours."The first session at Chiranthana...
I will always remember Sir's words that we don't need wings to fly, we just need to have a sky in our mind. After the first session was over, we reached their allotted rooms. A room consisted of four people...It was also a new memory when everyone gathered in the general hall to prepare the camp news for that day.It wouldn't be fair to leave out the food at Karakulam Rural Study Center...we had such excellent food on the first day...
