CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME : DEBATE COMPETITION

A Conscientization programme was held on General Hall on December 9, organized by M Ed students of GCTE. The time scheduled between 2:30-3:30 pm.The conscientization programme was briefly introduced by the M.Ed student teachers after Ms. Kadambari's invocation. The rules for the debate tournament were also provided.The debating competition's moderator was Ms. Jessy. Twenty students were chosen at random, and they were split into two groups. Is the current educational system adequate to meet the demands of the modern society? was the debate's main question.The team led by Krishna Kumar supported the topic, whereas the team led by Keerthana Anil chose to oppose it. Dr. Praveena, Dr. Roshna, and Ms. Asha Krishna assessed the competition. Both teams brought up a number of topics and points by using examples from current social and educational trends.The audience was given the chance to share their opinions on the subject after 50 minutes of discussion, during which Bhagya, Sini, and Keerthana SS addressed their concerns. The results were then made public. Keerthana Anil from Team A and Krishna Kumar from Team B both had outstanding performances. Team B, which spoke favourably on the subject, won the debate.Judges praised Team B's members for their active participation, while only a few from Team A voiced their opinions. At 3:45 pm, the programme was come to the end.

 Govt. College of Teacher Education and  Onche  college union in collaboration with IQAC organised food fest "രുചി മേളം " on 13 june 2023.The fest was inaugurated by the principal Dr. A V Sujith .The menu for the fest included snacks, main course, desserts, drinks and shakes which was prepared by the students . Food fest was completed successfully. It created a good impact on the students where they learned to work in team and other various aspects involved in the management of a food processing. 13/11/2023- 17/11/2023 13/11/2023 I explained the subject Bhakti Movement in North India to the ninth class students with the help of my Teaching Ed I explained the subject of foreign relations to the eighth grade students After that I divided the students into two groups namely Persia and Macedonia and asked them to discuss the effects of Persians and Alexander's invasions on India. 14/11/2023 I didn't take any classes that day 15/11/2023I did not come to school that day because I was not feeling well 16/11/2023 That day I explained to the class nine students about the role of women in Bhakti and then asked the students to fill in the chart together. 17/11/2023 I explained about the development of vernacular languages to the ninth class students. After that I also explained the names and pleasures of the authors of the language and literature section. I then asked the students to conduct a seminar on the development of vernaculars in medieval times.
