TRIANGLE TRIBUTE 📐

As part of this Department of Mathematics conducted a drawing competition on 20/12/2022 named as Triangle Tribute. As the name suggests, the competition was to draw a picture using triangles. The competition started at 3.30 and ended at 4.30 by dividing the first year B.Ed students into five groups. Chart materials were also provided to each group. The competition was coordinated by Roshna Mam ( Asst. Prof, Dept. Of Mathematics ) and the 1st B. Ed Mathematics optional students. Each group draw different pictures with triangles.
"A triangle is a three-sided polygon, which has three vertices. The three sides are connected with each other end to end at a point, which forms the angles of the triangle. The sum of all three angles of the triangle is equal to 180 degrees"

Parts of a Triangle
🔹A triangle has 3 sides. In triangle ABC, the sides are AB, BC, and CA.
🔹The angle formed by any two sides of a triangle is the angle of the triangle, denoted by the symbol ∠. A triangle has three angles.The three angles of the triangle ABC are ∠ABC, ∠BCA, and ∠CAB. These angles are also called ∠B, ∠C, and ∠A, respectively.
🔹The point of intersection of any two sides of a triangle is known as a vertex. A triangle has three vertices. In triangle ABC, the vertices are A, B, and C.

Properties of a Triangle
The sum of all three interior angles of a triangle is always equal to 180⁰.

The sum of the length of any two sides of a triangle is always greater than the length of the third side.

The area of a triangle is equal to half of the product of its base and height.

Types of Triangles

Triangles can be classified based on the length of the sides or their angle measurements.

To classify triangles according to their angles, we measure each of their interior angles. Triangles can be classified by angles, as:

🔹Acute Triangle or Acute-angled Triangle
🔹Right Triangle or Right-angled Triangle
🔹Obtuse Triangle or Obtuse-angled Triangle
The types of triangles based on the length of the sides are –
🔹Scalene triangle
🔹Isosceles triangle
🔹Equilateral triangle
To classify triangles according to both angles and sides, we measure the interior angles and length of the sides of the triangle. Triangles classified based on both angles and sides are –

🔹Acute Equilateral Triangle
🔹Right Isosceles Triangle
🔹Obtuse Scalene Triangle
The competition was won by Group 4. The prize was given on 21st Dec 2022.

FOOD FEST🤤🍔🍭🍯🍽️🥂

 Govt. College of Teacher Education and  Onche  college union in collaboration with IQAC organised food fest "രുചി മേളം " on 13 june 2023.The fest was inaugurated by the principal Dr. A V Sujith .The menu for the fest included snacks, main course, desserts, drinks and shakes which was prepared by the students . Food fest was completed successfully. It created a good impact on the students where they learned to work in team and other various aspects involved in the management of a food processing. It was a great experience.

13/11/2023- 17/11/2023 13/11/2023 I explained the subject Bhakti Movement in North India to the ninth class students with the help of my Teaching Ed I explained the subject of foreign relations to the eighth grade students After that I divided the students into two groups namely Persia and Macedonia and asked them to discuss the effects of Persians and Alexander's invasions on India. 14/11/2023 I didn't take any classes that day 15/11/2023I did not come to school that day because I was not feeling well 16/11/2023 That day I explained to the class nine students about the role of women in Bhakti and then asked the students to fill in the chart together. 17/11/2023 I explained about the development of vernacular languages to the ninth class students. After that I also explained the names and pleasures of the authors of the language and literature section. I then asked the students to conduct a seminar on the development of vernaculars in medieval times.
