TRAFFIC AWARENESS ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐๐
On December 21, from 2.30 to 4.30 pm, the Natural Science Association, Biostar of GCTE, and IQAC presented a seminar on traffic awareness in the college's General Hall. Angitha Giri G.N. of the first B. Ed. in Natural Science served as the programme coordinator, and Dr. Rajashree K. HOD of Natural Science served as the programme convener.
Reshma Rajesh led the group in prayer before Revathy gave the welcome address to kick off the programme. Dr. Roshna introduced Mr. Yethy Prakash N.L, a senior civil police officer, to the programme before he took charge of the session.In-depth and engaging instruction on the subject was provided by Yethy sir. He told a tale to illustrate the traffic regulations and signs, which I found to be extremely intriguing. Any applicant for a driver's licence must be knowledgeable about traffic signs and road safety regulations.
Everyone should be aware of the three main categories of traffic signs: required, cautionary, and informatory signals. One of India's main grounds for concern is the rising prevalence of traffic accidents. To increase road safety in the nation, numerous laws and regulations have been passed over the last ten years. At the local level, many of these rules have not been very effective. In order for people to become responsible adults, it is crucial to educate them from a young age.I learned a lot in this lesson and was able to expand my knowledge. As a pedestrian and a driver, it will unquestionably be beneficial.
