SCHOOL INDUCTION PROGRAMME -DAY 1️⃣

A school induction program is an important part of the overall teacher training process to ensure that new teachers are properly onboarded as well as ensuring existing teachers receiving refresher training across a range of important workplace and classroom themes. Research has shown that an effective induction helps new teachers be prepared for the classroom and the specific culture of the school. It has also shown that keeping existing teachers up to date an engaged helps improve classroom and school outcomes.

First day of the NEW YEAR 2023  begins with the school induction programme on January 4 to 9. For the induction programme I chose Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Cotton Hill.My feet were waiting to step on the school campus once again not as a student as a teacher . It was very memorable experience.It gave me an opportunity to know more about the school and its activities and relive my school days.School starts at exactly 9.30 in the morning. The assembly was organized under the leadership of Head Master and Principal. We were 14 student teachers went to the cotton hill school from GCTE
2 from Natural Science 11 from Social Science and only one from Malayalam.Angita Giri, a first B.Ed Natural Science student, was chosen as the leader to guide all.

Then the honorable H. M Shri Rajesh Babu sir gave all necessary instructions to the teachers in a kindly way.
Sir gave full support and permission to collect the data of the school.Rajesh Babu sir is the husband of Rajasree teacher in Natural Science department of GCTE. We divided into various groups, information was collected about academic, infrastructure, Students achievements, and other activities, etc.
We all signed the attendance given by the college.Ajay sir arranged classes to us and he said to go and meet the other teachers.We met the respective teachers of the subjects and made a little bit of discussion with the teachers about their class time tables and wich periods alloted to class observation and interaction to us .Then we were divided into various groups for collect datas and information about school's environment, administration, infrastructure, students achievements and functioning of various clubs in the school. In the first day we were shared the lunch and after we started to collect some additional information and take some photos of school surrounding with the teachers permission.Then we got a chance to visit the class and interact with the students .Some of the students sang songs together and one student dance,in order to discover their hidden talents.e register and  left the school at 3.30 .And thus ended my first day of school induction programme.

FOOD FEST🤤🍔🍭🍯🍽️🥂

 Govt. College of Teacher Education and  Onche  college union in collaboration with IQAC organised food fest "രുചി മേളം " on 13 june 2023.The fest was inaugurated by the principal Dr. A V Sujith .The menu for the fest included snacks, main course, desserts, drinks and shakes which was prepared by the students . Food fest was completed successfully. It created a good impact on the students where they learned to work in team and other various aspects involved in the management of a food processing. 4th week of First phase

13/11/2023- 17/11/2023 13/11/2023 I explained the subject Bhakti Movement in North India to the ninth class students with the help of my Teaching Ed I explained the subject of foreign relations to the eighth grade students After that I divided the students into two groups namely Persia and Macedonia and asked them to discuss the effects of Persians and Alexander's invasions on India. 14/11/2023 I didn't take any classes that day 15/11/2023I did not come to school that day because I was not feeling well 16/11/2023 That day I explained to the class nine students about the role of women in Bhakti and then asked the students to fill in the chart together. 17/11/2023 I explained about the development of vernacular languages to the ninth class students. After that I also explained the names and pleasures of the authors of the language and literature section. I then asked the students to conduct a seminar on the development of vernaculars in medieval times.
