ORIENTATION FOR SCHOOL 🏫 INDUCTION PROGRAMME

The first year B.Ed. students of GCTE, Thycaud have been preparing for the school induction programme for a week on the month of January 2023. As the stepping stone of the programme, the student teachers have been provided with the orientation by the teachers of the GCTE, Thycaud on 21st December at the Research Room.Induction is the support and guidance provided to novice teachers and school administrators in the early stages of their careers. Induction encompasses orientation to the workplace, socialization, mentoring, and guidance through beginning teacher practice.
The school induction programme is scheduled from 3rd January 2023 to 7th January 2023. The program was hosted by Ms. Parvathy S. Dr. Issac Paul, Dr. Joly, Dr. Jayakrishna, Ms. Chithralekha, Ms. Shiba, Ms. Sheena, Ms. Asha, Mr. Jithin Prem and Dr. Praveena M. gave valuable advices and instructions related to the school induction programme. The students were active and note down relevant points for the future references. Teachers have given full support and motivation for the students for the coming induction programme. The vote of the thanks for the programme was given by Ms. Shiba teacher.
Points to be remember during school induction programme and report writing discussed during the session are follows: 1. Attend at least 2 classes of senior teachers
2. Take 3 shared class by the peer groups
3. Observe 2 classes of senior teachers
4. History of the School
5. Office Activities
6. Observation notes
7. Reflective Journal .
8. Take note on school club activities, NCC, NSS,                    Achievements etc.and school facilities.

FOOD FEST🤤🍔🍭🍯🍽️🥂

 Govt. College of Teacher Education and  Onche  college union in collaboration with IQAC organised food fest "രുചി മേളം " on 13 june 2023.The fest was inaugurated by the principal Dr. A V Sujith .The menu for the fest included snacks, main course, desserts, drinks and shakes which was prepared by the students . Food fest was completed successfully. It created a good impact on the students where they learned to work in team and other various aspects involved in the management of a food processing. 13/11/2023- 17/11/2023 13/11/2023 I explained the subject Bhakti Movement in North India to the ninth class students with the help of my Teaching Ed I explained the subject of foreign relations to the eighth grade students After that I divided the students into two groups namely Persia and Macedonia and asked them to discuss the effects of Persians and Alexander's invasions on India. 14/11/2023 I didn't take any classes that day 15/11/2023I did not come to school that day because I was not feeling well 16/11/2023 That day I explained to the class nine students about the role of women in Bhakti and then asked the students to fill in the chart together. 17/11/2023 I explained about the development of vernacular languages to the ninth class students. After that I also explained the names and pleasures of the authors of the language and literature section. I then asked the students to conduct a seminar on the development of vernaculars in medieval times.
