One Day School Visit to Govt Model LPS, Thycaud

    The first B.Ed students of GCTE organised a one day visit to Government Model LPS ,Thycaud in November 18 2022. It was one of the most memorable days of our B.Ed life. Sri Rahul V R, Assistant Professor and IQAC coordinator of GCTE guided us throughout the visit. We reached there by 10.00 am and was welcomed by the school teachers.


Rahul Sir gifted Christmas Tree to the School . We gave them pencils,Toys for the small Students and also some story books for keeping in their library. The headmistress explained about the uniqueness of the school and how their school was different from other schools of Kerala.The beauty,infrastructure and facilities of the school were beyond our expectations.It was a must watch school.All the changes which is presently seen  in School came after only the COVID-19 pandemic and the Headmaster Shaji Sir initiated it and developed this school so beautifully and perfectly.



The school has a garden area and the front of the school was hanged with many plants.A showcase of books were in the front of office for the parents.The entry to nursery section was through a cave where they can walk or slide.The walls of the varendas was painted with maps,famous personalities,cartoons and etc.After their welcome,we were moved to the creativity room which was surprising.A very colourful mouth looking room.The ceiling was painted in three designs representing sunrise,noon and sunset.it was very beautiful.Also each corner of the hall was for different activities and students interests like dance,music,reading,drawing,science,maths,craft ,etc. There was a stage in the hall for acting.









The students came to the hall and sat down in the floor.We welcomed them and started the programs scheduled which are song, story telling, experiment,word games,action song,magic show.Childern also participated in the program and they were very active and responsive to us.They also danced with us.Afer the programs, a momento was given to Sunitha teacher by Dr Jolly S,our vice principal.



After that,we were directed to the classrooms of the school.All the class was painted with maths shapes,maps,etc.The library was also very beautiful.There was also a studio named 'Mathrukam'for the school where many programs of kite victers,cookery show ,etc was done.


The school had set upped a Studio to shoot the videos both for Educational and Entertainment Purposes which they will telecast through their official youtube channel.


Overall,the school was te best that I ever saw.This school is a motivation and role model for every other schools.

FOOD FEST🤤🍔🍭🍯🍽️🥂

 Govt. College of Teacher Education and  Onche  college union in collaboration with IQAC organised food fest "രുചി മേളം " on 13 june 2023.The fest was inaugurated by the principal Dr. A V Sujith .The menu for the fest included snacks, main course, desserts, drinks and shakes which was prepared by the students . Food fest was completed successfully. It created a good impact on the students where they learned to work in team and other various aspects involved in the management of a food processing. 4th week of First phase

13/11/2023- 17/11/2023 13/11/2023 I explained the subject Bhakti Movement in North India to the ninth class students with the help of my Teaching Ed I explained the subject of foreign relations to the eighth grade students After that I divided the students into two groups namely Persia and Macedonia and asked them to discuss the effects of Persians and Alexander's invasions on India. 14/11/2023 I didn't take any classes that day 15/11/2023I did not come to school that day because I was not feeling well 16/11/2023 That day I explained to the class nine students about the role of women in Bhakti and then asked the students to fill in the chart together. 17/11/2023 I explained about the development of vernacular languages to the ninth class students. After that I also explained the names and pleasures of the authors of the language and literature section. I then asked the students to conduct a seminar on the development of vernaculars in medieval times.
