66th Kerala Piravi Celebration - Inauguration of Mathirbhasha dinam 2022

On 1st November 2022, celebration of 66th Kerala Piravi was conducted at GCTE, Thycaud. Along with this, today the inaugration of Mathrubhasha dinam was also conducted. The function started at 10:30 am. Students and teachers wear traditional dress. After the arrival of the chief guest, Dr. SushamaKumari K. S. ( Associate Professor, Department of Malayalam, University college, TVM)the program started with the prayer by Parvathy S. (First B. Ed Malayalam). Later ,the welcome speech was given by Shri. Krishna Kumar (First B. Ed Malayalam). Following the welcome speech, the inaugration of the function was done by the chief guest along with our respected Principal Dr. V. K. Santhosh Kumar, Dr. Joly S (Vice-Principal, GCTE, Thycaud) and Shri Rahul (IQAC Convenor).

After the inaugration, the welcome speech was given by Dr. V. K Santhosh Kumar. He delivered a speech  on relevance of our mother toungue. Later, the chief guest Dr. Sushama Kumari K. S. was welcomed to talk about todays function. She gave an inspiring and knowledgeful speech. The topic she discussed was about Indian languages, how it is special from other languages, how each culture and state have different language system, relevance of our Malayalam language, how people nowadays view malayalam language as a inferior language as compared to english, how we can avoid these faults and make our future generation more improved on these basis as we were future teachers etc. All the topic which discussed were very relevant and important in our current situation of our malayalam language. The speech was very inspiring.

Following this, felicitation was given by Shri Rahul and Smt. Sheena. They concluded by mentioning the importance of malayalam and the language representation of a culture. After the session, Shri. Krishna Kumar (First B. Ed Malayalam) recited a poem in malayalam.

FOOD FEST🤤🍔🍭🍯🍽️🥂

 Govt. College of Teacher Education and  Onche  college union in collaboration with IQAC organised food fest "രുചി മേളം " on 13 june 2023.The fest was inaugurated by the principal Dr. A V Sujith .The menu for the fest included snacks, main course, desserts, drinks and shakes which was prepared by the students . Food fest was completed successfully. It created a good impact on the students where they learned to work in team and other various aspects involved in the management of a food processing. 13/11/2023- 17/11/2023 13/11/2023 I explained the subject Bhakti Movement in North India to the ninth class students with the help of my Teaching Ed I explained the subject of foreign relations to the eighth grade students After that I divided the students into two groups namely Persia and Macedonia and asked them to discuss the effects of Persians and Alexander's invasions on India. 14/11/2023 I didn't take any classes that day 15/11/2023I did not come to school that day because I was not feeling well 16/11/2023 That day I explained to the class nine students about the role of women in Bhakti and then asked the students to fill in the chart together. 17/11/2023 I explained about the development of vernacular languages to the ninth class students. After that I also explained the names and pleasures of the authors of the language and literature section. I then asked the students to conduct a seminar on the development of vernaculars in medieval times.
